Chocolate Sour Cream Bundt Cake



Simple and delicious -  my favorite bundt cake recipe.

2 cups self-rising flour
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 3/4 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sour cream
Hershey chocolate bars or 1 12 oz or larger bag mini chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 9-inch bundt pan with cooking spray and coat sides and bottom with sugar.  The sugar gives the outer crust a nice crunch.

Beat butter and sugar until creamy.  Beat in the eggs, vanilla and sour cream.  Gently mix in flour until smooth.

If using chocolate bars, grate at least 2 chocolate bars over the smallest holes.  Add chocolate to batter and gently mix.  If using mini chocolate chips, dump chips in batter and mix.

Pour into bundt pan and bake 50 - 60 minutes until done.
